While these are guidelines it usually is the case that the summer months are the "rainy" months. Summer months usually rain in the late afternoons making the daytime temperatures "hot" and "humid". Most native Floridians stay indoors during these "hot" months. Another thing to remember is that June through September is hurricane season, with July and August the most likely months for severe weather.
