WAHM is Me!

I like to describe myself now as a Work at Home Mom (ok, so I am a teacher too but here is my story)....

When I am searching the internet and I find a site that pulls my attention in; I am always curious about the site owner. Who owns this? What prompted them to make the site? How did you make it? Where did you learn to build a website? (yes, I tend to ask a lot of questions to everyone!)

And always I am wondering …..Does this site make you money??

Well, I thought I would answer these questions about myself since I am the webmaster (that sounds weird to say).

I am a full time teacher and I love education, I don’t want to change careers but, I needed some extra money to help subsidize my families’ income.

I would start the site and get so confused and frustrated that I would quit and then later start all over again. (I wonder what happens to all of those partial sites of mine that are floating around out in cyber space.) If I had a nickel for all of the “good” ideas that I have had… well, lets just say I wouldn’t have money problems.

Oh yea, in the past year out of desperation I have spent our last savings money on my “good ideas”. (Don't tell my husband) We owned a drop ship business that I ended up paying customers to take my stuff!

I was in several multilevel marketing opportunities and I now hove more “stuff” and less money. You get the picture.

Does any of this sound like you?

I really related to this and started investigating and reading anything positive and negative I could find on SBI (by the way, couldn’t find anything negative). So I took the leap and I purchased it.

I along with lots of people like me took the plunge. See an example of someone else's journey.

Now, it has taken me longer to develop this site because I am following the plan step by step process and I am learning so much and the more I do the easier it is getting! The SBI process is (turtle analogy)

I truly can say I understand how it all works, how I can make money, how to build a site that is attractive for human eyes as well as search engines (google, yahoo etc.).

So now you ask….. why a site about Central Florida?

I LOVE CENTRAL FLORIDA! I have enjoyed everything from the amazing theme parks and beaches to the everyday life of shopping and raising a family.

Friends and family for years call me or write saying "Allison, we are coming in to Orlando.. give us our itinerary!" So I would write everything down but, the information has grown so large that I needed another outlet to share it with. Soooooo, why not share this information with everyone else!

I enjoy sharing the tricks of getting around and getting the most bang for your buck.

Well, it doesn't work that way and I learned how with key word research I can find a niche that I knew a lot about and that would make money thus,

So I started plugging away a little at a time. Since I am a full time teacher and full time wife and mother I would work on it an hour here and an hour there (the SBI way). Well, now…. I am so proud of my site!

I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF! What a huge accomplishment and I am seeing more and more visitors everyday.

NO more partial sites, no more good attempts. I want to share my good news with everyone!
